Overview
maCity is a location-based social platform. We collect limited information to provide core features like account access, messaging, and location-based discovery.
Data We Collect
- Account Data: email, username, password (hashed).
- Optional Profile Data: phone, gender, country, bio, social links.
- Location Data: approximate and/or precise location when you grant permission.
- Usage Data: app interactions, device information (non-identifying) for diagnostics.
- Purchase Data: Apple processes in-app subscription payments. We receive confirmation of your Premium entitlement (for example product identifier and expiry) so we can unlock features. We do not collect your full payment card details.
- Media: photos or content you choose to upload.
How We Use Data
- Provide and improve maCity features and performance.
- Enable location-based content and discovery.
- Secure accounts and prevent abuse.
- Communicate important updates and support responses.
Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers to operate and improve the app, under confidentiality obligations, and when required by law.
Location Data
Location features require access to your device location. You may disable this in system settings at any time; however, some features may be unavailable.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account data.

Subscriptions & Payments
maCity Premium Tier is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment. We use purchase status only to provide Premium features and support. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Children
maCity is not intended for children under the age required by local laws. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
